What kind of tree are you?
http://www.blogthings.com/whatsyourceltichoroscopequiz/
I’m an Ash Tree!
You are vivacious and impulsive, which makes you extremely attractive to many. Intelligent and demanding, you don’t care much for criticism. You have a ton of ambition and talent, and sometimes money rules your heart. You like to play with fate, and you can be very egotistical and restless. Demanding of attention, you need love and a lot of emotional support.

Do you remember when you get your first allowance from your parents? Well, I do. Back then I had 20 dollars for my daily allowance when I was in grade school. Not CDN but NTD. When I first had that 20 bucks in my hand I felt rich, not like stupid rich, but really felt happy about having money that I could spend. 20 bucks back then gets me 2 drinks, or 20 minutes of phone calls!
Switch to the current time. 20 bucks NTD is like, less than a Canadian dollar. What does it get you? hmm. let’s see. 50 cents for ol’ cheapo candy from those twist twist vending machine. And maybe a quarter left for making a public phone call.
So what am I trying to get to is 1 dollar seem so little compare to real life big spending habit. Buying a condo/house, locking yourself in on a crazy mortgage for a good 30 years ain’t fun at ALL! But I want my own condo or house, I can’t wait, the freedom is SOOOO good.

So today is my first time working from home. As soon as I vpn into work I have already felt the difference, for one I’m still in my pj, for two I’m doing this right now
I hope I don’t make a habit of working from home because I feel disconnected from my colleagues, I wonder if they actually miss me or know I’m not there for the day…
I didn’t work from home for no good reason. I had to bring my car into the shop to do the regular checkup, emission test, and an annoying problem with the acceleration. I got a call from the autoshop saying the cost will be 1500 (oh my goodness) to fix up everything, and this really got me thinking if my car is still worth this much So bye bye $1500, way to ruin my saving for my annual trip.
Thought of the day: Are you thinking about me?

So yeah, today is Friday and there are so many of these Fridays in one life time. Why are people so obsessed about Friday? Is it because it’s the end of the week? What constitute the end of a week? I mean there’s no end in time, it loops around, what if I take Wednesday as the end of the week?
Changing your perspective for a second here; treat everyday as a Friday, would that make you happy everyday and look forward to everyday? I don’t know about you but I certainly would.
Work tends to get busy on Fridays, which is unconventional compare to other work places I have been to. But hey, if I treat everyday like Friday, my actual Monday to Thursday will be like weekends? haha what the hell am I talking about here. So totally lost.
Writing blogs is like brain diarrhea, so many disconnected thoughts…

Maybe I shouldn’t be blogging at work but my automated testing tool is doing its work. The only thing that’s really working is my iPod, keeping me entertained with Gary, Vivian and Stanley’s music!
So when I listen to music and reading the artist name gave me a few connected thoughts.
Gary Cao —> Jay, but Gary is better singer, but may not be as talented as Jay. Jay still have my support, and as for Gary, you got a new fan, hahaha (sound so corny).
Vivian Hsu —> a coworker, because of the same last name. But Vivian is so hot it’s crazy. I never knew she could sing so well, so very impressed like a little boy finding a candy in his lunch box! Duet with Gary Cao above is awesomest too!
Stanley Huang —> former member of LA Boys, these guys used to do crazy break dance and mesmerize little school kids. Jump!
Ok, so what’s going to happen today?

Who would have thought I’m going to do yoga now?!? I enjoyed it the first time last Friday. Moksha Yoga in Richmond Hill, or Hot Yoga for the other words. Basically there are lots of people in this hot sauna-like room and we do yoga moves. There are so many postures and I didn’t have the memory to remember them so I will go more often. Class is like 90% women and 9% men and 1% not so sure if they are man or woman.
Next up is Badminton, I’m more in shape now, still round but in shape, I’m playing the sports that I like and badminton is definitely up there

With the holiday season leaving behind our backs I’m slowly getting busy again. One, work is getting more challenged by the day and Project Economics are slowly picking up pace too.
If you are stressed out about work here is what you can do:
- remember to take deep breathes
- remember to take your breaks
- eat sweet snacks
- find someone to release this stress (talk about it, don’t hold it)
- or find something to release this stress (squeeze ball is perfect for me)
- come talk to me, I’m always available for coffee
- when you are not doing work don’t think about work (I know it’s not easy but try it)
- remember there are always people around you that cares about your well being
- do exercise and sleep early

Went back to Humber today and got myself a new textbook. Ah the thoughts of studying again kinda gave me chills as I have been studying nonstop for the last couple of years since the beginning of time?!?
Recently I have really put much thoughts into if I should return back to school full time. It’ll like reliving my uni life again except in a different environment, and I’d be too old to party like them young 20’s.
I don’t want to do Master as I no longer enjoy crunching my differential equations and my geometry planes. I don’t wan to to do MBA until I have enough business experience. This quarter life crisis is really bugging me!
Staring at my textbook right now, contemplating… nah, I’ll hit the sacks now~

Right shoulder is acting up again. Being an office worker it’s very easy to strain a muscle when the shoulder is no longer aligned. This is very important for people that had sports injury like myself.
Be good with your body, don’t take diet lightly because you think you are no longer sexy. Heath comes first before shape!
